Jayda's Star layout

Here is a pic of an older LO I made. This is way back when before I really got many supplies. Jayda is 6 now and only 2 in the picture. I knew I wanted this one in the "Star Challenge" even if it is older.

The Valentines Bags that got me into trouble

Well I have 2 grandkids that happen to be in the same class. So I figured since they are in one class I can make a few goodie bages. They are going to put a valentine from each one of them into the bag along with some candy and a pretty vday pencil. I wanted the kids to help decorate the bags themselves, but due to time they had to leave before we got that far. So my neice came to help me get them done so that next time the kids come over they could do their cards and help fill the bags. OH BOY did we get carried away. Mommy said we needed 20-24 for the class and we had to make a few for step brother to give to family since he doesn't go to school. So we had 30 bags. It took us two seperate get togethers to get them done. And I tell you we are both sick of glitter and glue for awhile. Once the bags are full and tied off with the curly ribbon I will post again. Here are just a few of the ones we did.

Be Mine Wall Hanging

This peice was done on 1.5mm foam. I used a full peice for the back. Then cut my letters and words with George and Ashlynn's Alphabet. I just added some pink ribbon, used the cropadial to make the two holes in the top. Then I just ran some curly ribbon through it for hanging. This one use inspired by an old add for sizzix cutter.

The Lollipop Boquet

Here I made some lollipops I got the idea from an ad of an old memory makers magazine from 2004.
I cut 2in circles and decorated them with glitter. I am finding that the fabric glitter is easier to use than plain glitter glue. It makes smoother lines that are more "raised". However it does take longer to dry. For the sticks I just rolled up a peice if 8 1/2x 11 paper and cut it to the length I needed ffor my vase. The vase was so easy too. I used the Calligraphy cart again and ran the peices trough my xyron sticker maker then stuck them on the vase. There are 3 pictures here, first of the whole thing then close ups of the vase and lollipops.

Valentines day lamp

Here is the valentines version of the lamp shade. I think we might do this for every holiday. It's so easy and I get tons of compliments about it from freinds and family that stop by. I just have the cricut cut the words and graphics and tape them to the inside of the shade. For this one I used George and Calligraphy.

New Years Resolutions

I made this little bag for my best freind. I used PS and a few little punches for the "fireworks" above the city. I filled it with 12 little plain white cards so she could write them all down.
